The station's transmission reaches Garissa,Mandera, Ijara, Tana River and Wajir Districts. The broadcast from Star FM can also be heard clearly areas in Mwingi District. Our target audience is over two million people. Star FM is in the process of expanding to Nairobi, Mombasa, Isiolo, Moyale and Marsabit Districts.
Programming
Star FM is multilingual with news and programming in three languages: Somali, Swahili and English and we have a contract with BBC to re-broadcast their programmes. Star FM is for ALL!!!!
